Memo/Notes On The Deposit Total Report
RTS allows you to add notes (Memos) to the Deposit Total Report, assigning them to either a specific station or the overall deposit for the day.
This feature is useful for providing additional context about events that may have impacted daily reporting or for communicating important details to upper management during report reviews.
Adding A Memo
To add a memo, select either a specific station number or the overall deposit.
This allows you to assign notes to a particular station (e.g., Station 1) or to the total deposit, helping organize memos based on the situation.
- In RTS, go to Actions → Station → Enter Memo.
- Select either a specific Station Number or the overall Deposit.
- If a Station Number is not listed, you can grant access by navigating to Setup → Station Numbers.

Note: Station Numbers are assigned per computer and are considered a local setting.
- After selecting a Station Number or Deposit, a Text Entry window will appear for entering your memo.
Note: An on-screen keyboard will not be prompted, so a physical keyboard must be connected to the terminal to type and save the memo.
- Once you save your memo, it will be applied to the Deposit Total Report for the date it was entered.
Viewing The Memo Section via Deposit Total Report
Memos appear in a designated section of the Deposit Total Report.
When selecting a Deposit or Date Range for the report before generating or viewing it, you will see this section in the list.
Under Section 6, the memo will be displayed. You can choose to enable or disable this section when viewing the report.

Note: The Memo section is also used for any notes added to Inventory Corrections processed in RTS.
