Tip Retention
RTS provides an option to prevent credit card tips from being deducted from your station deposit.
Instead, these tips are allocated to a sales item called "Retained Tip."
This feature is useful for locations that prefer to distribute tips at a later time.
When Should You Enable Tip Retention?
If you’ve started using credit card tips in RTS and notice that your daily deposit amounts are being affected negatively, enabling this setting can help.
Enabling Tip Retention
To activate this setting in RTS:
- Go to File > Options
- Select the Restaurant tab
- Set "Enable Tip Retention" to True
