This article details the reports found in Reports → Time Clock.

These reports provide time tracking, labor analysis, and payroll insights based on employee time clock activity.
They are essential for monitoring work hours, calculating labor costs, and reviewing employee attendance or time-related trends.
Notes
⚙️ Reminder: Settings and options for these reports are configured under Setup > Time Clock.
Make sure Employee Departments, Pay Rates, and other Time Clock Options are properly configured for accurate reporting.
Pay rates and department assignments must be correct for payroll and cost calculations to reflect real values.


Current Hours

  1. Reports > Time Clock > Current Hours
The Current Hours Report provides a real-time, at-a-glance view of employees who are:
  1. Currently Clocked-In
  2. On Break
  3. On Lunch
This view is useful for managers and supervisors to monitor employee activity throughout the day.
  1. Report Features:
    1. Live View: Quickly see who is working or on break without needing to generate a full report.
    2. Exportable Report: Clicking the View button creates a report with the same data that can be:
      1. Exported
      2. Emailed
      3. Printed
This makes it easy to keep records or share the information with others as needed.




Current Status

  1. Reports > Time Clock > Current Status
The Current Status Report provides an at-a-glance view of the current status of all employees, not just those who are clocked in or on break.
  1. This includes:
    1. Clocked In
    2. On Break
    3. On Lunch
    4. Clocked Out
    5. Other statuses, depending on your time clock setup
  2. Report Features:
    1. Live Overview: Allows you to quickly assess the status of all employees at a glance.
    2. Exportable Report: Clicking the View button generates a detailed report with the same information, which can be:
      1. Exported
      2. Emailed
      3. Printed
This report is ideal for quickly understanding team availability or checking for any attendance issues.






Daily

  1. Reports > Time Clock > Daily
The Time Clock Daily Report provides a daily summary of each employee's shift information.
It’s useful for reviewing worked hours over a specific period and verifying time clock accuracy.
  1. Features:
    1. Date Range Selection: Run the report for a specific day or range of days.
    2. Sorting Options: Can be sorted by employee last name for easy reference.
  2. Display Formats:
    1. Decimal (0.00): Hours worked shown as decimal values.
    2. Time (hh:mm): Hours worked shown in hours and minutes.
    3. Both: Display both formats side-by-side for comparison (as shown in the example).
This report is ideal for timekeeping reviews, payroll prep, and auditing clock-ins and clock-outs for accuracy.






Details

  1. Reports > Time Clock > Details
The Time Clock Details Report provides a line-by-line breakdown of each clock-in and clock-out (punch) for every employee within a selected date range.
  1. Key Features:
    1. Detailed Punch Tracking: Shows each individual punch (clock in/out) per employee.
    2. Date Range: Can be run for any specified date range to review historical data.
    3. Department Info: If an employee is assigned to a department, it will be listed alongside their punch records
    4. Auth User/Time and Memo: Details the user who made a manual change to an employee’s timeclock punches and includes any notes added for that situation.
This report is especially helpful for identifying missed punches, verifying shift accuracy, or resolving payroll discrepancies.



Employee

  1. Reports > Time Clock > Employee
The Time Clock - Employee Report provides a summary of each employee's shift, showing clock-ins, clock-outs, lunch periods, and breaks.
  1. Key Features:
    1. Shift, Lunch, and Break Tracking:
      1. "S" represents a Shift.
      2. "L" represents a Lunch period.
      3. "B" represents a Break.
    2. Employee Focused: This report breaks down the shifts and breaks for each employee, making it easier to track work hours, lunches, and breaks.
    3. Date Range: You can run the report for any specified date range to view data for a particular time period.
This report is useful for reviewing employee schedules, verifying breaks/lunches, and ensuring compliance with break time policies.





Labor Cost

  1. Reports > Time Clock > Labor Cost
The Labor Cost Report is used to analyze employee hours in relation to sales, helping track labor costs and their efficiency in comparison to revenue.
  1. Key Features:
    1. Employee Hours vs. Sales: Shows a comparison of hours worked by employees versus the sales made during the same period.
    2. Customization Options: Allows users to specify which sales and payroll data to include in the report for more targeted analysis.
    3. Daily Breakdown: When set to true, the report will include a Daily Labor Cost section, providing a more granular view of labor costs on a per-day basis.
This report is helpful for monitoring labor efficiency, adjusting staffing levels, and analyzing labor costs relative to sales performance.





Payroll

  1. Reports > Time Clock > Payroll
The Payroll Report provides a comprehensive breakdown of hours worked, pay rates, and total pay for each employee.
  1. Key Features:
    1. Hours Worked & Pay Rate: Displays the total hours worked and the employee's pay rate (as set up in Setup > Time Clock > Payroll).
    2. Total Pay: Calculates the total amount due for each employee based on their hours worked and pay rate.
    3. Department Filtering: Users can choose to show data for a single department or all departments at once.
    4. Customizable Display Options:
      1. Totals Only: When checked, the report will exclude daily breakdowns, showing only the total pay for each employee.
      2. Show Employee Numbers: If checked, the employee numbers will appear alongside the employee names.
      3. Enable Page Break: If checked, each employee’s details will be displayed on a separate page.
This report is vital for ensuring accurate payroll processing and for managing employee compensation effectively.





Payroll Cost

The Payroll Cost Report compares employee hours worked with admissions, helping to evaluate labor costs in relation to ticket sales.
  1. Key Features:
    1. Hours Worked vs. Admissions: Displays the total hours worked by employees and compares them to the admissions (ticket sales) during the specified date range.
    2. Date Range: Users can run the report for a custom date range to analyze labor costs over a specific period.
    3. Department Filtering: The user can filter the report to show data for a single department or all departments.
This report provides valuable insight into labor efficiency, helping to ensure staffing levels align with ticket sales.




Questionnaire

The Time Clock Questionnaire Report provides the responses to any time clock questions set up in Setup > Time Clock > Punch Inquiry Setup.
  1. Key Features:
    1. Question Responses: Displays answers to time clock questions that employees were required to respond to during their clock-in or clock-out process.
    2. Date Range: Users can run the report for a specific date range to analyze responses over a given period.
This report is useful for tracking employee responses to specific inquiries, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and reviewing any notes or feedback provided during time punches.
